October Celebrates Fair Trade Month

October is Fair Trade Month, recognizing the global effort to encourage fair trading practices and working conditions for farmers around the world, while also encouraging sustainable farming methods. Despite the unique challenges faced during the global pandemic, the Fair Trade community continues to support the livelihoods of nearly a million farmers across the globe. Join Javatino in raising the profile of this important cause!

Seek the Seal

Coffee production is the lifeblood of economies throughout regions of Central and South America, Africa and Southeast Asia, known as the Coffee Bean Belt. Javatino is proud to feature the Fair Trade Certified™ seal on all of our organic Single Origin coffee products originating from these regions, including Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Ethiopia and Sumatra.

During October and beyond, we encourage you to Seek the Seal by purchasing Fair Trade products wherever you shop. Look for the Fair Trade Certified™ seal and feel good knowing you are doing your part to not only support farmers’ fair wages and working conditions, but also to help sustain the environment for future generations.

Just add Organic

And we don’t stop at Fair Trade. Javatino is also a Certified Organic coffee roaster, meaning our coffee is free from toxic pesticides, fertilizers and GMO’s − and it’s farmed using sustainable practices to reduce soil erosion and disease. In fact, Javatino is the first and only USDA Certified Organic coffee roaster in Orlando. That’s why we can vouch for the quality of our coffee, from bean to cup.

We may be biased, but we’re convinced our coffee tastes even better because of the extra care shown to our global farmers. If you are looking for a local Orlando organic coffee roaster that can deliver on both taste and conscience, you’ll find it with Javatino.  Javatino coffee and cold brews are available for purchase at select locations and local farmer’s markets Or, shop online to find our entire selection of Single Origin and blended coffees, along with seasonal favorites.
