According to the Allegra World Coffee Portal – a leading information platform for the coffee industry – all forms of cold coffee are growing at more than 7% annually, almost double the rate of hot coffee products. Appearing on the scene during the past decade, cold brew is now considered a mainstream product. Not to be confused with iced coffee, the cold brewing process starts with cold water that is steeped up to 18 hours to deliver a smooth, less acidic cold coffee.
